Quality assurance

Coxco adheres to the New Zealand Kabocha Product Quality and Safety Programme, which assures the quality and safety of our export market squash.

The programme is supported by New Zealand Government legislation under section 24 of the Horticulture Export Authority (HEA) Act 1987.

This programme requires Coxco to adhere to strict policies including those governing:

• chemical residues
• export spray programmes
• registration of chemicals
• quality assurance standards
• packhouse quality control
• exporter, packhouse and grower registration

Under this programme all Coxco’s policies and process are independently audited to ensure compliance.
