Coxco Farming Ltd was established in 2006 and consists of 700 hectares (1750 acres) of very rich alluvial silt loams on the Poverty Bay plains. The Coxco Farming programme specialises in the growth of squash for the Japanese and Korean markets. It also grows sweetcorn, maize and seed crops.

In 2008, Coxco founder Mark Cox jointly founded Craigmore Sustainables with business partner Forbes Elworthy. Craigmore Sustainables now has a team managing a mix of dairy, grazing and horticultural farms spread over 15,000 hectares. Our aim is to be a long term producer of high quality food products through farming the land sustainably and by partnering with the best operational managers in New Zealand.
